the Lode: a ChangedStars Adventure Module

The Lode is a ChangedStars Adventure Module* about what's found in a mysterious asteroid (*presumes the party takes a certain role in the story/shares a common entry into the area regardless of party type).

• Sci-Fi Thriller plot primed for any sort of characters.
• Bring any sort of party in with a variety of Hooks by Frame, at least one for each of CS's Frames and two generics.
• 4 new NPCs—an infobroker, a rebuilt Synth, a unique turret, and the "Pseudo-Mantis" Nouseguay attack-sim.
• 2 maps worth of asteroid crawl / dynamic adventure through mysterious ruins.
• Internal struggle between and within denizens of the asteroid.

The legacy of a precursor hidden behind a Nouseguay pirate's vault, all tucked inside a humble and unassuming asteroid, is about to play host to the final act of a deadly set of events put in motion centuries ago.  The Lode thrusts your players into a perilous pair of ruins: one Nouseguay, the other Wykosi.  Together they form a mix of death trap and puzzle with a conflicting set of ideals and themes.  Still alive within the ruins are a deeply damaged Synth and an ambitious broodling and their befuddled allies at the edge of cryosleep ready for their last wake.

Whoever enters and however it plays out, great treasure awaits for those who can reach the end of the Lode!
