Home on the Range

1st person liminal horror escape the house movement platformer inspired by the Jetson and Cyberpunk genre; planned ahead of time, completed in one [1] month (July 2024).

CONTROLS

WASD/Mouse - basic movement

E - interact with a panel, it's based on how you stand relative to it not where you're looking; loots bandages (glowing white bricks)/pill bottles 

T - toggles open a text box (need to tap twice to get it to take properly the first time) to enter codes into 

B - Bandage to heal yourself; max 4, start with 4. 

L - Flastlight 

P - Pill, while robotrippin' (screen pink) you take half damage SHIFT - boosts, you have 4 boosts before you need to refill (hit 3 to cheat instead); try chaining mid-air for sick tricks, refilled at red tanks with big yellow exclamation marks on them

 SPACEBAR - jumps, 

SPACEBAR MID-AIR - double jumps, spends a boost

OBJECTIVES

Any%: reach the car\win screen

Box%: find all five (5) boxes with a certain logo

Code%: lay eyes on all keycodes

This game is the result of an internal DieselShot gamejam held with friends—participants included: TheSevenSpidersOfHipHop, SpiderQueenLong, SingleServed, Charlatan, Colynato, & Azrayel.
